It’s been a few weeks since the Microsoft Ignite conference in Orlando, and looking back we cannot help but feel empowered. Not only did we dodge a hurricane, but all those who attended or paid close attention to the unfolding of this massive event all took part in something amazing: building the future. We sit at our desks for hundreds of days out of the year figuring out how to make the very experience of doing so more productive, efficient and engaging.
However, the days of this conference brought us all to our feet as we ran to and from booths and sessions; gathering each piece of brilliance offered, in order to puzzle together what will be the future of the workplace. Jeff Teper described the future workplace as being more “ubiquitous” with Office 365 to be accessible on any device, while Satya Nadella elaborated on mixed reality, and apparently the future holds an even more collaborative workplace as Skype for business customers are on their way to being migrated to Teams. The experience put it all into perspective; yes we aim to improve our own workplace but in the process were bettering the everyday experience of the working human. We are making life easier for one another whether we know it or not. After the conference, the CardioLog team is hopeful and excited about the future.
